AIRA Conducts 2009 Research Implementation Forum
The 2009 Research Implementation Forum (RIF) was held on Tuesday, June 23rd as part of the 39th AIAA Fluid Dynamics Conference meeting held in San Antonio, Texas.
Walter Strapp, Environment Canada, and
Jeanne Mason, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, were the distinguished lecturer for the event. Their talk centered on “Current Perspectives on Jet Engine Power Loss in Ice Crystal Conditions” and was well received by all those in attendance.

AIRA Conducts 2008 Research Implementation Forum
The 2008 Research Implementation Forum (RIF) was held on Monday, January 7 as part of the AIAA Aerospace Science meeting held in Reno, NV.
Mr. Tom Bond, FAA Chief Scientist and Technical Advisor for Environmental Icing, was the distinguished lecturer for the event. His talk entitled
R&D on Icing Engineering Tools for Regulatory Use was well received by all those in attendance.

AIRA Holds Successful Research Implementation Forum (RIF)
The 2007 Research Implementation Forum (RIF) was held on Monday, January 8 in Reno, NV in conjunction with the AIAA Aerospace Sciences Conference. Over 50 people attended the four hour session which constituted the 5th such annual event.
