AIRA Planning Session on Propulsion System Icing at Upcoming International Conference
One of the areas of growing interest within the international icing community is that of turbofan engine performance and operability in icing conditions especially the so called "mixed conditions," a term which denotes an icing cloud which contains not only super cooled water droplets but also ice crystals.
