AIRA Membership

Criteria for New AIRA Members

  • Demonstrated expertise in aircraft icing
  • Demonstrated ability to engage in successful collaborative partnerships
  • Areas of expertise are aligned with future direction of AIRA as outlined in strategic plan
  • Organizational values are consistent with those of AIRA member organizations

A majority of the current AIRA members must approve before an organization is invited to join AIRA.

Membership Entry, Withdrawal and Fees

  1. Subject to the above, additional organizations may participate in the AIRA upon endorsement of the Executive Steering Committee (ESC).
  2. Individual Parties may withdraw from the AIRA, at any time, by notifying all other participating Parties ninety days prior to withdrawal.
  3. There is no fee for membership. Costs for participating in AIRA activities will be borne by the individual member organizations.
